Las Terrazas Belize Resort offers Mango Tree guests VIP amenities including: Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability; $100 resort credit; Early Check-In / Late Check-Out, subject to availability; Complimentary Wi-Fi. Letâs get you VIPâd!
Getting to Las Terrazas in Ambergis Caye requires a 15-minute hopper flight (or 90 minute ferry ride) from Belizeâs main international airport, the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). While the hopper flight may seem like a bit extra step, it only adds about 1.5 â 2 hours to your overall travel time, and the local airline Tropic Air, will get you out the door to the islands in a jiffy. If you work with Mango Tree to book your trip, we can easily coordinate the transfers and flights for you. Once you arrive in San Pedro, we highly recommend doing the 10 minute boat transfer up island to the hotel to arrive in style.
Once on property, your main form of transportation will be a golf cart. Rent one for their duration of their stay. The hotel is a bit out of the way â about a 25 minute golf cart ride north of the main town of San Pedro. Other beaches and restaurants are just a short ride away, but the property has an air of being away from it all. The upside is, youâre closer to the road to Secret Beach, which is a must-do in Ambergris Caye.

Absolutely loved this resort! Our family of 11 just returned from the best vacation! We stepped off the plane and were greeted by a driver who took our bags and drove us to our boat which took us to the resort. We were immediately welcomed at the resort with a super friendly staff. They were quick to grab our luggage and show us the resort and answer any questions we had. The rooms were great, the food on the resort was very good, the drinks were great. Every single staff member was so nice, so accommodating, fun to talk to, and truly wanted us to have a great time â which we did! Something that we loved was that they made a point to get to know us, referring to us as âThe Big Familyâ. Concierge went out of their way to help us plan a couple excursions, we ordered groceries that were delivered and put away by the time we arrived.. The pool area was super fun, we had a fabulous dinner at the rooftop restaurant, breakfast was delicious, we loved every bit of it! We are thankful for a fun family Thanksgiving vacation!

This is not a review from a first time visitor, this was our 9th stay at Las Terrazas. And we keep returning for a very good reason, there is simply no better place on earth. The resort is a perfect fit for my wife and I and recently we have started bringing our older teenage kids, friends and family. The food is outstanding, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the customer service is top notch. As a diverse family, we have a wide variety of expectations. My wife prefers to sit and read and enjoy a few drinks from the bar. My sons prefer to fish, kayak, snorkel and be active. My daughter and I like to dive at the reef and relax by the pool and beach. At LT you can do it all and everyone can do their own thing. We enjoyed trips in to town, visiting the neighboring resorts, and exploring âthe neighborhoodâ but we were always happy that our base was Las Terrazas. Thanks to all of the amazing staff. We will be back again soon!
