  • The Location.  Anguilla is a peaceful and quiet island to begin with, and Zemi Beach House sits on a calm stretch of beach without wall-to-wall resorts. No crowds here, it’s a place to truly unplug.  We love a family resort that makes you comfortable – but that also lets you experience the island you’re visiting.  Snorkel right off the beach, and then walk down the sand for some local Caribbean cuisine at a beach shack.
  • The Kids’ Club.  It’s not always easy to find a small luxury family resort with an intimate feel that also offers full service family amenities like a kids’ club.  Zemi Beach House’s Kids Club accepts children age 4-12 for island-inspired activities. Not only is the indoor kids’ club room packed with entertainment, but the club includes unique programming like mermaid swim school and education for kids on preserving the coral reef.  The resort offers movie nights once or twice a week so parents can head down the beach for an adult-dinner.

Zemi Beach House Anguilla

Zemi Beach House lies in Shoal Bay East, a trendy area on the Northeast shore of Anguilla.  The resort sits on six acres and on a one-and-a-half-mile-long beach.

It takes about 1 hour to get to Zemi Beach House from neighboring Sint Maarten’s Princess Juliana Airport (SXM. But the hotel makes every step as easy as possible. When you arrive in SXM, you’ll be greeted by a Zemi Beach House representative. You won’t see your suitcases again until you arrive in Anguilla. You’ll be escorted on a 2-minute drive to the ferry port, followed by a 20 minute ferry to Anguilla (with drinks, hooray). Quickly clear customs, and then a pre-arranged car will drive you 30 minutes to the resort.

American Airlines also offers direct flights straight from Miami to Anguilla’s airport (AXA), which is just a 10 minute drive from Zemi Beach House. Many travelers still choose to arrive via ferry from SXM, however, as there are more direct flights.

  • Zemi Beach House is part of Hilton’s LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, which has been described as a collection of boutique luxury hotels under the Hilton umbrella that should be kept “just as they are.”  You get the charm of a boutique luxury resort in Anguilla, but the chance to use and rack up Hilton Honors points.
  • The 76 rooms at Zemi Beach House are spread across five buildings.  Two beachfront buildings house the multiple bedroom beachfront suites. Three other buildings – which are about a 2-minute walk from the sand – house the standard rooms and ocean view penthouses.
  • When you arrive at Zemi Beach House, you’ll enjoy a rum punch in the Welcome House, the club’s version of a lobby. Staff will quickly whisk you off on a golf cart tour of the property, ending at your room.
  • The property is designed as a small luxury village, gradually sloping downhill towards the beach, with everything you need in the town square, i.e. the center of the property.
  • The rooms are designed in a simple contemporary décor, with wood slat beds and white linens. The bathrooms have lovely freestanding tubs, which kids will love for a post-beach bath. Every room has a spacious balcony with comfortable chairs great for unwinding after the kids go to bed. Multiple bedroom suites give families space to spread out.
  • The centerpiece of this luxury boutique resort in Anguilla is the main pool. Lined with palm trees, it has a whimsical zigzag design. Kids will love the glass-walled section of the pool, and the wide steps are great for little travelers. You’ll notice the small touches throughout that make Zemi Beach House a luxury stay, such as infused water, deliberately placed chairs for unobstructed ocean views, and sunscreen pumps.
  • When you can catch a break, do not miss the adults-only infinity pool. It’s a three-tiered pool up the hill in the shade, a great place to take a moment for yourself.
  • Zemi Beach House sits on the quiet end of Anguilla in Shoal Bay East.  It faces that Atlantic ocean, which means a slightly wavier surf than some of the calmest Caribbean beaches. Because of the currents, this beach receives less sargassum than others on the island.
  • Because of the island’s proximity to the reef, no motorized watersports are permitted in Anguilla (and no cruise ships either!).  At the beach concierge, you’ll find nonmotorized watersports, toys, and snorkels. Be sure to snorkel right off the beach, with the reef so close to shore.
  • Zemi Beach House has four restaurants and a fantastic rum bar. In the evening, you can bounce between 20 Knots for Caribbean and Latin flavors; the Bohio Bar & Sushi Lounge for something light and fresh; and Stone Restaurant for seafood entrees and perfect wine pairings. Finally, do not miss the The Rhum Room’s collection of 140 small-batch, single-estate rums.
  • Room service is available for guests who prefer to dine in the comfort of their own rooms.
  • The kids programming at Zemi Beach House is definitely a highlight. In addition to having spacious indoor rooms for the kids – including a video game room –  Zemi Beach House offers fun and educational activities to keep kids engaged, from coconut bowling to cooking lessons. The Kids Club is open from 9am – 5pm, at no charge for kids age 4-12.  Younger children can be accommodated at an additional cost. Babysitting services are also available.
  • Finally, the spa at Zemi Beach House luxury resort is a standout, reason enough to travel to Anguilla. You could lose hours (while your kids are at the kids’ club!) relaxing in the secluded walled garden, the vitality pool, and the juice bar. The spa’s highlight, though, is the Caribbean’s largest hammam, where guests can indulge in massages, healing rituals, and scrubs.

We spent 3 glorious nights at this beautiful resort while celebrating our cousin’s 70th birthday with 100+ other friends and family members. The entire staff including transportation partners and grounds keepers were all extremely friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to see people so dedicated to making sure we enjoyed our stay!! This breathtaking hotel overlooks the beautiful Anguilla beach and should be added to your bucket list if you haven’t already been. We had a fantastic stay at Zemi’s this February 23. The hotel is located in a beautiful bay / beach. Hospitality of the team was outstanding and could not fault anything during our stay. Lovely food all around, but the Sushi was outstanding. My son did enjoy the lap pool a lot to practice his swimming. The hotel has a certain calm atmosphere which makes you enjoy 100%. All in all, a great island for a relaxing stay with many beautiful beaches and great and clear waters. Do not miss out, not to stay at Zemi’s!
