The drive from the airport will take roughly an hour, but it’s worth it for the calm and peaceful vibes on this part of the island.

From the parking lot and lobby of Saint Peter’s Bay, you can’t see the beach. So it feels a bit mysterious when you arrive as to what happens on the other side of the main buildings. Once you arrive in your room, however, the magic begins.
All of the luxury family suites at Saint Peter’s Bay Hotel in Barbados have sweeping ocean views and lots of space. The villas sit on five floors, with the three- and five- bedroom penthouses occupying the top floors, and family friendly villas ranging from one to three bedrooms on the remaining floors. Perhaps the most unique feature is the direct elevator access from your balcony to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for families with kids.
The luxury villas for families are well-appointed with fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, and en-suite bedrooms, making it feel like a home away from home.
The hotel features a large meandering pool surrounded by the rooms, with comfortable loungers that will make everyone want to relax when in Barbados with kids.
The beach, private and just the room, offers powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and even snorkeling. Families will love the sea trampoline and the available water-taxi rides to nearby attractions.

The Saint Peter’s Bay Resort exceeded my expectations! Absolutely stunning Caribbean seashore location and excellent suits. I was looking for an apartment with a kitchen and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality kitchen appliances, including a Miele dishwasher and icemaker freezer/fridge. The suite also had a separate laundry room with washer and drier. But most of all I was impressed by the staff. Concierge James was most helpful in every respect and booked all our tours and car rides. Housekeeping came every day and were meticulous and paid attention to requests. Overall the atmosphere created by the staff at the resort, including beach attendants was very friendly and helpful. I plan to visit again next year with my extended family.
