Why we like it for families

The Vibe (& Size): We love good vibes, and the charming SeaBreeze Beach House resort definitely delivers the true feeling of Barbados. We’re quite picky about all-inclusive resorts and generally stay clear of the huge ones – but this resort is smaller than most big all-inclusives, and that “Bajan” vibe is everywhere you look. We appreciate that everything is close by and right on the beach, and yet the property is designed in a way to give everyone enough space (including separate adult and family areas!).
The Food: When compared to typical all-inclusive cuisine, the food at SeaBreeze Beach House gets rave reviews. We love that there are options ranging from hot dogs and hamburgers to Bajan fish cakes and pickle conch salad, from buffet to a la carte, and from casual to fine dining. The quality is nothing short of exceptional, and palates, young and old, will appreciate the diverse menu. Even the fine dining restaurants like Cerulean and Aqua Terra offer kids’ menus, so adults can sample all the restaurants with little ones in tow.
The Location: Most Barbados resorts are on the West Coast, and we love the unique location of SeaBreeze Beach House on the South Coast. It’s a shorter distance from the airport (15 min) and close to the classic Barbados neighborhoods of St. Lawrence Gap and Oistin’s Fish Market, giving you the opportunity to explore beyond the hotel.
The Beach & Pools: The beach and pool options are fantastic. There are two white sandy beaches, one that is perfect for watersports, and another that is calmer and better for little swimmers. Cozy beach loungers and umbrellas are everywhere, with plenty of water activities to enjoy. The three pools – an adult-only pool, a family-friendly pool, and a lap pool – are all nearby and steps from the ocean. No matter which you choose, you’ll love the poolside misting, ice lollies, and refreshing cold towels provided by the staff.
The Family Amenities: Don’t be fooled by the adults-only pool; the SeaBreeze Beach House is fantastic for families. In fact, one of the things we love most is how it caters to everyone in the family. There are adult-specific amenities like rum tasting, spa treatments, and fine dining menus. But there is also a Kids Club, Teen Lounge, and a range of activities perfect for kids of all ages, including watersports, crafts, and even a hobie cat!

Location and Activities

Located on the South Coast of Barbados, SeaBreeze Beach House is perfectly situated near a variety of attractions. With several direct flight options from the U.S. East Coast, getting there is truly a breeze (see what we did there?). Once you land at Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI), you’re just a quick 15-minute drive away from the SeaBreeze Beach House.

While the property’s amenities and all-inclusive dining options might make it tempting to stay put, there’s plenty to explore nearby. While in Barbados with kids, definitely prioritize an excursion to see the sea turtles, and an early morning adventure to see the swimming horses.

The Barbados Golf Club, and the Concorde Experience are also in close proximity. For a memorable international date night, take advantage of the resort’s Kids Club and enjoy a quick 5-minute taxi ride to Oistins Fish Market on a Friday night or St. Lawrence Gap for delicious food, entertainment, and authentic Bajan vibes.

Although this property is on the smaller size, it stretches horizontally along the beachfront, offering stunning water views from virtually every corner. Whether you are lounging by the pool, or strolling along the beach, everything you need is closeby, making it simple to keep an eye on your little ones as they happily shuttle between the pools and the beaches.
From the moment you step onto the property, you’ll experience the warmth of “Bajan” hospitality. The friendly staff will make you feel right at home with a breezy check-in, refreshing welcome drink, a relaxing cool towel, and a quick tour of the property.
The luxury suites for families really make SeaBreeze stand out over other resorts. These suites offer breathtaking ocean views that truly make you feel like you are floating above the sea and private balconies so you feel like you are the only ones there.

Note that while there are Classic rooms available at a lower price point, booking a Luxury suite will truly elevate your experience at SeaBreeze Beach House with kids and we think it is worth the spend.
With six on-site dining options, SeaBreeze Beach House caters to every taste. For dinner, choose from Mahogany Lounge’s traditional buffet, Aqua Terra’s elegantly casual Sunset Deck setting, or romantic fine dining at Cerulean. The Flying Fish or Tipsy on the Beach are perfect for laid-back lunches (no shoes necessary), and the Rum Shop Cafe is open for you to savor local flavors like Bajan cutters or the Bajan traditional Puddin & Souse.
For a truly exceptional dining experience, consider booking the Chef’s Table or a Private Dining experience in the tiffany lit gazebo. For an additional fee, you can also get a babysitter and head for a date night to the flagship restaurant Oro at SeaBreeze’s more adult-focused sister property, O2 Beach Club.
SeaBreeze Beach House boasts two different beaches across over 1,000 feet of coastline. One beach, located next to the family pool, is perfect for watersports, while the other provides a calmer, more secluded experience. For adventurous kids and teens, there’s boogie boarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, a floating trampoline, and snorkeling.
The kids’ programming is fantastic, with a fully-equipped Kids Club open daily offering a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. Teens can enjoy beach games, outdoor table tennis, and their own lounge space. Plus, professional babysitting services can be arranged by emailing the property.
Parents programming is fantastic, too! Besides a wide array of watersports, there’s a weekly activities calendar packed with fitness classes, rum and wine tastings, mixology courses, afternoon tea, bingo and more – so you’ll always have something fun to do! For rejuvenation, head to the Drift Spa, and if you want to keep up with your workout routine, there’s a 24-hour fitness room.
We highly recommend parents carving out some kid-free time to take a dip into the adults-only pool or a jacuzzi, enjoy a date night off the property, relax at the spa, or have a romantic dinner. Your kids will be in great hands while you reconnect and unwind.

Spent a week at Sea Breeze (2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 an 5) just before Christmas. The location is amazing and beach/sea pristine. Service levels can be mixed in the Caribbean but were faultless here….everyone happy to help with a smile (really don’t understand some of the negative reviews left by others). Food was the bonus as all-inclusive buffets can be repetitive but there was a good mix of a la carte / buffets on offer that kept us satisfied and always a drink on offer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable!

Wonderful hospitality! The best we have experienced. Francine, Micheal and Dario and many others were so pleasant and happy to accommodate anything needed. They were always pleasant and professional. The decor and accommodations were very quaint and literally felt like you were at your own beach house rather than the typical commercial big properties.We felt connected to the ocean for the full 7 days! You were eating with a view outdoors at every restaurant, you could see the ocean and hear the ocean continuously. It was nothing like we’ve experienced before. Food and drinks were always accessible and delicious. Beautiful place to experience! Thank you Sea Breeze Hotel and Barbados for the wonderful hospitality! My family had a great week on our family vacation!
