Why we like it for families

  • Family-Friendly Luxury. Walk onto the grounds at Seven Stars and you’ll immediately feel a sense of luxury. It feels like a resort designed for adults but the more you explore, the more you’ll see that kids are welcome too. TripAdvisor reviews—all five stars—emphasize the luxury-level of service at Seven Stars.
  • The Location. If you want to stay on Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, Seven Stars has one of the best beachfront spots. Grace Bay Beach is one of the best in the Caribbean and offers shallow, calm water for kids. You could easily waste away the days on its shores. The hotel has a great location next to the Ritz, right in the center of Provo’s strip of shops and restaurants—but unlike the Ritz it has expansive rooms for families.
  • The Spacious Rooms. In 2017, Seven Stars added a new class of sprawling two-bedroom suites specifically designed for parents traveling with kids, with a master king bedroom, a second bedroom with two twins, a large balcony, a full-kitchen, and laundry. You can order groceries in advance and have them delivered to your room, an awesome kid-friendly perk.
  • The Amenities. The resort has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay on Grace Bay, including a spa, an adults-only pool, a fitness center, and tennis courts. It also offers babysitting so you can enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. For kids, the resort stocks books, board games, toys, high-chairs, has a small playground, and offers free watersports on Grace Bay Beach.
  • NOTE: Other reviews will emphasize the Shooting Stars Kids Club, which closed during COVID and has not re-opened. Even without a kids’ club, though, Seven Stars is an excellent luxury choice for families.

Location and Activities

Seven Stars Resort and Spa is 15minutes away from the Providenciales International Airport (PLS). For more information about things to do at the resort and around town, check out the Seven Stars website.

  • As you enter Seven Stars through its open-air lobby, the first thing you’ll come across is the formal restaurant, Seven, which is known for its seafood and steak. Dinner is served at Seven either in the formal dining room, or (better if the kids are along) outside in a garden area.
  • The hotel’s more casual restaurant, The Deck, has a prime location past the pools, right on the edge of the beach. It’s one of the best restaurant views in town.
  • Seven Stars is within walking distance of many restaurants, including The Terrace on Grace Bay, a very close option for snacks and casual fare.
  • The centerpiece of the property is the heated, saltwater pool – the only one on the island. With large, wide steps in each shallow end, there’s plenty of place for small kids to play. When adults want a break from the activity, an oceanview adults-only pool beckons.
  • The hotel’s 115 rooms are located in three towers surrounding the pool. The middle tower, which is set back off the beach, houses the island view rooms.
  • At the beach, Seven Stars offers guests complimentary Hobie Cats, Kayaks, and Paddle
  • On land, the resort has tennis courts, basketball, and pickleball facilities, plus a high-end spa, fitness center, and weekly yoga classes.

Traveler Reviews

My family spent two weeks this year at The Seven Stars Resort. For us, no other resort compares to the Seven Stars. The accommodations are lovely and the restaurants serve amazing food. Above these positives of the resort, are the staff that work by the pool and sea. Everyday my family was welcomed by the smiling faces of Mike, Gregory and Don. These three gentlemen went above and beyond daily to make us feel welcome and spoiled. Never before has my family remembered a staff member more fondly as we did Mike. We spent 10 days in July 2021. On our first day at Seven Stars this year we were so pleased to see this memorable smile welcome our family back for another remarkable vacation. An added bonus to our day was Gregory. He is bubbly and friendly, always making us feel special and cared for. These gentlemen, along with Simon- another incredibly kind and helpful individual, made our vacation in the sun beyond amazing.

My family of four – including two kids ages 8 and 11 – are just back from an amazing 6 night stay at Seven Stars. We were very impressed with this resort, beginning with the very warm welcome upon arrival, including a personal tour that ended at our 5th floor suite. We loved the layout of the suite: nice sized living area which doubled as a sleeping space for the kids, kitchen with fully stocked pots/pans/silverware/etc, separate bedroom for my wife and I, washer and dryer in the unit, and a huge balcony with a breath taking view of the pool area, beach, and water…I can’t say enough about the trip. Perfect for kids, perfect for families. We’ll be back Seven Stars!
